HELLO CUTIES!
So. For every newsletter that I have posted until now, I have used a Taylor Swift lyric as my title. Young, naive me thought to herself: this is going to be so cute and totally easy to keep up with it’s not like she doesn’t have a billion of them. Well. This is me. Egg on my face and tired of trying to find lyrics to match what I am doing. As it turns out, I am a little lazy? (But how could you say that, Lana?) Well, I mean, this is my first newsletter in like, eight months, so…Listen, I am just…really kind of lazy, come to find out. Love me anyway? Please? Don’t worry, the dad jokes will never leave because as lazy as I am, I am also equally intolerable.
Anyway. On to the more important things.
OVERRULED is out today! I still can’t believe that I have five books out in the world—it feels unreal? Made up, even? This book is the book of my heart, my favorite thing I have ever written, and I can only hope that you all love it just as much as I do! Dani and Ezra hold such a special place in my heart—my little blackcat emotionally stunted babygirl and her insufferably adorable golden retriever not-boyfriend are going to be hard to top in my eyes.
